I am having problems downloading the trial version from your website. What can I do?
Downloading a large file can be challenging if you have a slow connection or an unreliable service provider. Our full installer is 110MB. If that's too large for your connection, we also offer a smaller 12MB version. The smaller download includes 51 sample glass images—just a small preview of the more than 3700 images included in the full package.
If you're ready to purchase but are having trouble downloading or installing the software, please contact Dragonfly Software customer support and we'll find a solution.
Rest assured that our installer is safe to download and install. Many browsers warn about files from smaller publishers simply because they aren't widely downloaded yet. This does not mean the file is unsafe. Depending on your browser, you may see one of the following messages:
Google Chrome
Start the download. If Chrome shows "This file may be dangerous" then click the arrow next to the message. Select Keep. Open the file from your Downloads folder.
Windows SmartScreen (when opening the file)
If Windows shows "Windows protected your PC": Click "More info" and then select "Run anyway." This tells Windows you trust the file.
Firefox
Firefox may show a warning such as "This file may harm your computer" or "This file is not commonly downloaded." Start the download normally. If Firefox blocks it, look for a message in the Downloads panel (top-right corner). Click the three dots next to the blocked file, then choose "Allow download." The file should download normally.Microsoft Edge
Download the file as usual. If Edge shows "This file isn't commonly downloaded," select Keep. When prompted again, choose "Keep anyway." After downloading, right-click the file and choose Open.
A note about safety
These steps allow you to run software you trust. If you see these warnings for a file from a questionable provider, do not proceed.
